BODY CONTOURING
A complex set of procedures to remove excess skin and fatty tissue normally associated with massive weight loss either through bariatric surgery, diet and exercise or other health issues. This surgical intervention helps sculpt the body into a more proportionate silhouette and enhances self-esteem and body image.
ARM LIFT
A surgical procedure known as bracheoplasty is an important part of the body contouring procedure. It allows for removal of sagging skin and fat; often called batwings from the upper arms, while leaving a tightened smoother appearance.
TUMMY TUCK
Abdominoplasty, another term for a tummy tuck, is performed to correct a protruding abdomen or sagging skin of the abdomen. This procedure is performed by removing the excess skin and fat from the abdominal area and in some cases restores weakened or separated muscles.
LIPOSUCTION
Reduces localized fat deposits on the body which does not respond to diet or exercise. This procedure is less invasive but is usually still performed under general anesthesia.
Surgical procedures are performed in licensed and accredited outpatient and inpatient facilities. Some are part of West Jefferson Medical Center, some are freestanding. All adhere to the same standards as the hospital. These facilities provide unparalleled safety and professionalism for the patients. We use facilities with MD anesthesia, another very important safety concern. We also perform surgery with an overnight stay for patients who require more care than their family can comfortably provide at home.
